futuretense x Skate 50: Tiberius b + Shooting Daggers
Southbank Centre, Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer, SE1 8XX , [Venue Details]Celebrate 50 years of our skate space with live music and visuals across two stages at a special edition of our free gig series, curated by SORI Collective.
Take in DJs soundtracking the terrace and live music in the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer, featuring the hardcore intensity of Shooting Daggers and the genre-blurring alt-pop of Tiberius b.
This celebration of skate sound and culture, with immersive visuals, is described by the collective as ‘a love letter to a place that refused to be moved’.
SORI Collective curates this event to accompany our current exhibition Skate 50, which tells the story of London’s original skate space over the past half-century.
Since 2021, Tiberius b has synthesized far-flung styles into sleek, galvanizing pop songs. Their debut album, NEVERYTHING deepens and sharpens the singer-producer’s omnivorous sound, embracing all the peaks and nadirs of human emotion on its way.
Shooting Daggers have become a fiery beacon at the beating heart of the UK hardcore scene, and their full-on live shows have made them a must-see proposition. The queercore trio’s debut album Love & Rage was released in 2024 to wide critical acclaim, with Noizze calling it ‘a repeat-worthy album that you don’t want to end, fuelling you with excitement for the future of this knockout band’.
